Here's an circa 1875 - 1880 photo showing the Jail in the background. The house in the foreground might be that of James Belford which was diagonally across from the Jail. Notice the outbuildings and the camera (possibly) on the tripod stand.

Bill - Great picture! I believe you are right - this is the Belford home and family circa 1880. Question is, is this the same building that is still standing on the property? These old homes sometimes underwent heavy remodeling that left them nearly unrecognizable.
